Found some old pics of Bubble from 3 years ago lurking on the computer. My son took them with his old camera.

Gliders are too cool. Aren't they nocturnal though? Do they keep you up at night and are they somewhat active in the daytime? What do they eat?

Yeah, they are nocturnal, but if you take her sleeping pouch out of the cage she'll wake up. She doesn't mind being out in the day though, unfortunately it causes an involuntary elimination of her bladder and bowels!:D:rolleyes:

She doesn't eat a lot really, I give her baby food (no additives) and mealworms every night. They have similar requirements to lizards with calcium/phosphprous ratios. They too can suffer from MBD.

She reminds me of my guinea pigs :) Sugar gliders don't make noises do they? My guinea pigs don't shut up when they hear the fridge opening. They know where the veggies are at :D

I seem to have special powers with small/exotic animals. I make them pee/poop when I pick them up. :D

:D Lol! You would LOVE Bubble then! ;) They twitter and bark like a small dog, lol! Very annoying when you are trying to sleep! I have a sound file of my male glider twittering - it'sso sweet! I must try and upload it somehow. They make a few different noises and they vibrate/purr too! Very strange critters! Bubble is 6 now though and looking rather old.:(

Edit, my mum has piggies and they are just the same! As soon as the back door opens they start!

Too bad they are illegal In the state I live in. I would love a sugar glider or two! I love the cuddly little fuzzy guys who make noise. It adds to their character. I just adopted a new guinea pig (in america they are way over populated, adopt don't buy!) and she's just starting to warm up to everyone. She's still young and you can distinctly tell their little squeaks and purrs apart. :) my piggies vibrate when they don't like the way you touch them (mainly their rump for some reason...) and mine squeak and 'twitter' when I rub their big round bellies.

Gliders are certainly unique! Is it true they can't control their bowel movements? :x

Unfortunately, yes! Her best trick ever was when she leapt out of her bag , ran up the curtains to the pole. She sat right in the middle out of reach (these guys are so smart!) and proceeded to rain everything down onto the cream armchair below! but we love her anyways!:p They scent mark everything too, especially the males, they are far worse for that! Ugh!

:D:D:D:D ROFL! My male was far more stinky than Bubble. I won't be getting any more gliders. They are so messy - chameleons are so much cleaner than gliders, and they don't stink! Chams are the perfect pets I think!:D

This sounds just like potty training a toddler!!!:D I love seeing pics of your gliders. They are very cute. Every time I see the name Bubble, it makes me giggle! :p
