Bubba update

Hey all! Little bubba Walter is doing great now! I finally got the 1000 pinheads and he's turned into a little food machine. He's so cute when he eats. Hands down best pet a man can ever have! I love him! He'll eat about 15 to 20 crickets and then go get some water and chill for an hour or two. Then he'll go eat a couple more. He's usually pretty green which is cool too. Sometimes he'll have a bit of a white green glow to him. Here's some pictures of him feeling confident!

Thanks! He's really smart too. He hasn't climbed the ceiling of his cage at all, doesn't try to eat the fake plants at all, and now associates my better half with food. So any time she's in front of him, he fast walks onto his eating branch

If you have fake plants in his enclosure you should remove them because veils are notorious for eating them and it’s an impaction risk. He is a smart little guy!

Veiled chams will try to eat fake plants over time, so I'd still replace them with veiled-tested live plants. Better safe than sorry!

Oh yeah for sure no worries there. He's too weak to bite off the fake plants. He tried once then never again. I'm getting dragon strand ledges in a couple months so then live plants will be an actual option for me. I'm growing a shefflera and a pothos at the bottom right now though, they are growing like weeds!

Meaning to say I'm definitely removing all fake plants when I get ledges and redo his cage lol
