brumation mode

Unfortunately, my veiled's basking temp has been too low (in the 70s) during the cold weather in the UK & I didn't realise until yesterday (stupidly I assumed that it'd stay the same year-round cos he's indoors, in a heated room). He hasn't eaten for a couple of weeks & it's been suggested he may be brumating. I've raised the temp up to his preferred basking temp (93F) now & was wondering how long it might take for him to return to normal? He hasn't lost weight at all & he's definitely not weakened (showered him yesterday & my gardening gloves barely lived to tell the tale.)

He's a very fussy eater anyway but since moving him to a different enclosure & the temp drop, he's been even less interested in food than normal.

I imagine it'll only take a couple of days to get used to having high temps again, maybe a week for a proper appetite. My guy is not much of an eater either, but this week there have been locusts around so he's been quite hungry......
