Can chameleons get bruises??

Ester seems to have a bruise on his little puffer thing(what is that called anyways)....I think its from having to tug it to get his mouth open for his meds.....I havnt been able to get a good pic becaue he is so good natured and never really puffs up. Anywhos i also though maybe it was just some purple showing through....

what do yall think?

Yeah they can get bruises. They show up as purple/black marks just like us! They usually disappear on their own too. Its likely that he got his because you need to pull on the same place every time he needs medication. Lily has one on the end of her tail at the moment from where she got it stuck in her door lock!! Silly Lily!

I figured that they could.......but wanted to make sure!
