Bruised mouth?

Hello, im a first time owner of a 5 month veiled. I have a ceramic bowl perched on the bottom of the cage and now the front of his mouth is darker in color. Is this because the bowl is hard and he hits his mouth off of it when he eats?

Hey, could you upload (attach) a picture to this?

Take a picture of the chameleon's cage, bowl, and the chameleon and then attach it with the paperclip when you post again.
