I have Green Banana Roaches, Giants and regular. These are easy to breed, and I only check them once a week. i will send a care sheet if you email me at [email protected].
The bright green color, fast movement, and flying adults make them a primary feeder option. The adults only fly when disturbed, they are easy to catch (if perhaps you leave the lid off)
,
If you have a GBR escapee, they will go to water and heat, I found mine (when I left the lid off) by my water reservoir for my mister and under the heating pad that was under the GBR container.
Dubias who have escaped roam and hide everywhere, and live for months (Re: under the refrigerator and stove). GBR's can actually be free ranged, as they need higher temperatures to survive than Dubias; the GBR will die in a few days. Neither Dubias or GBR's can breed at normal room temperatures, GBR's just are less of a risk for unwanted house guests in unwanted places.
If I were to choose only one roach it would be GBR's. They are easier to take care of, more attractive to the Chameleon due to better movement and bright green color, and DEFINITELY can break a hunger strike.
I would like to see the Green Banana Roach become a main feeder for Chams, Beardies, and other reptilian friends. I am going to change my pricing to encourage you to try this feeder.
PRICING
40 count and over nymphs are $1.00 each.
20 count nymphs are $1.25 each, or 20 for $25.00
10 count nymphs are $1.50 each, or 10 for $15.00
5 green adults are $2.00 each, or 5 for $10.00 (Limited quantity of adults, first to order gets them, I can do 6 groups)
I have both the large and regular size GBR's, mostly the smaller GBR, on nymphs you will probably receive 90% small, and possibly some large.
On adults, they are all small GBR's at this point.
You can order Butters for 20 cents each also.
Not convinced?…..10 free Dubia with any order!
West Coast shipping is USPS Priority shipping and includes a fully insulated box, with a Cryopak heat source. The Cryopak has kept orders at about 70 degrees for over 4 days, it is superior to other heat packs IMHO.
Uo to 80 GBR orders will fit in one insect cup, so the total shipping charges to West Coast addresses will be $16.00. East Coast is not much higher.. 2 cup orders are $6.00 more in shipping costs.
Give these a try, let's green up the menu!!!
