bridges ?

okay so i have seen quite a few people have little wood bridges in their enclosure and i think they are really cute, should i get one or no ? this was the one i was thinking about getting (reminder havent even started getting anything, just trying to plan and know what imma get)

The bridges are there when people think that it will be useful but it’s really a bird toy and seres little to no purpose for the Cham.

Also your chameleons nails can get caught in it and it can rip off the nail, or even the entire toe.

That bridge doesnt look so hot. But Very thick rope, or for me, a hammock, works great. Toe nails may get caught in "loop" style fibers, such as carpet and certain cloth, but rope doesnt have loops.

any cotton/hemp/nylon "twine" hammock will work. The key is you want to make it out of "rope" and not the stretchy fabric. I just threw mine over a walk to make a "climbing rock wall".

No i use a "people" hammock. I have used some Repti Hammocks in the past, but only for anole sized lizards. Like others said, the cham can get the nail caught in "netting" or fabric style ones.

Oh, I also noticed that the hammock came with a coconut hide, chameleons don’t need hides just to be clear.

Maybe it's just me, but anything not typically found in a rain forest (aside from a hygrometer, feeder, and misting nozzle) ain't goin' in my enclosure.

It is not just you... If it isn't something that would be natural for him I do not use it either. Only real branches and real plants. I do not go by what I find will look the best for me but what is most suited for him.
