If she is still letting him breed with her, she is not gravid. A gravid female will sway, puff up, gape, and even hiss when a male is near by. She will fight him before letting him close to her. It sometimes takes several attempts to get a successful breeding. Also, they will usually not do the deed if you are right there watching. If she is receptive, put him in her cage, watch for a minute to be sure there are no fights, and then let them be. Check back in on them every 30 minutes or so, but try not to let them see you. I actually have an IP camera that I set up so I can see them without being in the room.

I meant receptive :p But i usually put her in his cage since hers isnt that big 18x18x36 and he is huge. but they will mate for a bit take a break then go back at it! they go even if im in the room. none of my chameleons are really shy!

Virgin females can remain receptive for weeks. Only non virgin females are usually receptive for a couple days. This being her first time, her body may not be responding to the hormones yet.
