Hi,I apologize in advance for my English . I have a question about breeding the Panther Chameleon (Furcifer pardalis Ambilobe). Currently I have a male (4.5 months) and in the future I would like to buy him a female. Until adulthood she would be placed in a other terrarium. But nobody is able to tell me if they can tolerate them in a terrarium. Therefore, I wonder if it is possible to breeding male and female in same terrarium, and if so what size should have this terrarium.

If you're looking to breed I would get the female sooner rather then later. Females need to be older then males usually (around 1 year +)

Good.

No, they can't

It wouldn't be safe, the female (most likely) would be stressed from being harassed by the male all the time.

They cannot habitate the same enclosure for extended periods but you will have to put them together in the same terrarium for breeding purposes. Once copulation has completed remove one immediately. In the wild a gravid female will display and avoid males but in an enclosure this is not possible and the stress and harrasment will have at best detrimental effects.
