so here we are my female veiled showed blue spots so i put her and the boy together how long should i keep them together she has not turned black with yellow or green spots

some times they can be together for a day sometimes it is over right after, just keep an eye on her, if she shows that shes is mad then remove him, good luck,

i know they did the nasty a few times so i covered the cage he has ben in there for over 24 hours now

Sometimes virgin females take longer to show gravid colors.

If they have been together already, & she is turning black upon seeing him now: ABORT!!! She is preggers. you will be putting unnecessary stress upon her and we all know what happens when you stress a pregnant woman. Keep him out of sight until she lays her eggs. Even then wait at least six months before mating again. She may produce eggs again 30-45 days after laying from stored sperm. You my friend are about to be invaded by nonstop eating machines!!!
