Breeding Drone Fly?

It was a beautiful day (23 celcius) here in southern Ontario today so I went out to the swamps with my buddy to see if any flying insects were out. Saw an Osprey, Brown snake, Mink and Green frogs, although none of the elusive Spring Peepers (Pseudacris crucifer) I've been looking for. Long story short I caught about a dozen Drone Fly (Rattailed Maggot adult) while they were trying to warm up in the sun to fly. This has my wondering now if anyone breeds them for chameleon food. I mean I know a lot of us can catch flies most times of the year, but some of us obviously can't. Was just wondering if anyone had heard of indoor netted enclosures or even outdoor breeding setups for drones.
