Is breeding a chameleon hard? are they super fragel and can get sick really easily?

This is a rather vague question, however, I will try my best. No part of chameleon breeding, or overall ownership is easy. Thats not to say it is impossible, or "hard" either. Like any other skill in life, breeding chameleons takes a lot of preparation, research, effort, patience, and many other virtues that do not come cheap to most casual keepers. The more you try, and learn from those trials, the better your success. I personally owned several species of chameleons for several years before my first attempt at breeding. This gave me ample time to understand these creatures and gain experience that could never come from just reading countless articles-- Research is great, but hands on experience is essential. As for the chameleons themselves, although I have great success with mine and consider all of them as healthy as can be, I still feel that overall, they are indeed fragile when compared to most reptiles. There are susceptible to many complications and even more-so once you start breeding them. My advice to you is to enjoy your chameleon for a year or two, do the homework, and learn from your own experiences. I hope this guides you in the right direction. I am sure others will have great advice to give you as well.

Depending on the species, it can be very easy, or the extreme opposite. If the conditions are right Mother Nature will always do her thing.

Breeding isnt the most difficult part, provided you have two compatible animals. its the care of the young that takes the most skill, time, patience, money, etc.
