Branch

Not sure where you live but go outside and cut down some live branches. I'm sure those would work well but free is better.

I've heard grapevine wood rots and goes moldy quickly. You're better off spending your money on another type of wood branch. Sometimes you can buy manzanita from craft suppliers and florists. Just make sure it's not treated with chemicals. Also, the Kammers sell branches on their website.

As mentioned, free is better, but if you are in a position where you have to buy, those are my recommendations.

Sandblasted grapevine molds pretty fast! If you use manzanita, try to pick pieces that have small diameter branches. The bark is very smooth and hard making it a bit harder for the cham to grip just with its claws. If they can wrap more of their toe around the twigs it helps.

I just used wood branches from my yard. I did remove the bark with a utility knife and never had any mold or other problems. I have read in other threads that bamboo can be too slippery but I have black bamboo in my yard and harvested several small diameter branches to use between the bigger pieces of wood.
