Branch cleaning

I'm putting together Elvis's big boy cage but all the branches won't fit in the oven. What's the best way to sanitize them? Bleach? Vinegar? I'm not sure what would be safe but still get the job done.

I'm setting up a new enclosure also with branches from outside. This is what I've always done and I've never had a problem with my chameleons health. Is to take them outside and hose them down really good and then scrub them up with dawn antibacterial dish soap and let it sit on the branches for 15 mins or so. Then I thoroughly rinse them off.

You can scrub them with a solution of 1 part bleach to 10 parts hot water. Rinse until you can't smell the bleach, and dry.

Ok, thank you. I'll try the bleach. I grew up in Maine but after living in Florida for awhile we seem to have a few more cooties because of the year round nature of the place. Nothing dies off in the winter.

I go with washing them to death and then baking them to make sure. Plus I like the way they dry out.
