Braided rope?

Does anyone use braided rope in their enclosures? I think it would add a really nice Tarzan aesthetic. It would be easy to secure and possibly provide something mentally/physically challenging to walk on for a change. xD

The only downfalls I could come up with is the rope would have to be nonabsorbent and not shed fibers.

Good/bad idea, what are your thoughts? :O

My only concern would be a nail getting stuck on the rope and being pulled out.

I get a somewhat similar "jungle vine" look by twisting together electrical wire (various colours).

I'd be unsure of how to clean braided rope.

Hmm. I guess that would work just as well, and no toenails getting stuck. Is the resulting vine as flexible as rope? I saw a youtube video of a cham walking on a rope and I thought the flexibility of the rope may not make it his favorite sitting spot but could exercise his balance/problem-solving skills by being difficult to walk on.

I would assume the wire would be more ridged but the flexibility could be adjusted by how it is mounted in the cage.
