I recommend keeping them outside AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE.
It is imperative to their growth. With your geographic location you should be able to keep them outside year round. Even if it gets down to NEAR FREEZING.
HOWEVER... Assuming jonrich kept them at ideal temperatures indoors, i would not start keeping them outside full time so it is not a shock to their system.
This is jmo, based on a very experienced bradypodion keepers advice. Take it as you'd like.
