It finally opened up... got it from popow orchids in florida 5 years ago as a seedling concolor v. Chlorophyllum

I admire your skill (and patience - 5 years!) with orchids. I’ve decided to end my unintentional massacre of these beautiful plants and not get any more.

I started in 2012....and replaced 98% of my plants with chameleons over the years...keeping just a few....I had just under a thousand orchids at 1 time....bulbophyllums....dendrobiums....phrags....paphs...cattleyas...I still have lots of hoyas....

I love orchids! That one is beautiful! Here are mine. I’ve been keeping orchids for about 3-4 years now.

Mine are all no ID orchids. I got them mostly from wal mart and a couple from the grocery store. It’s fun.

Here is also a brachypetalum "josiane" formerly concolor v. Longipetalum going into bloom...it last flowered in 2015
