Boy or Girl?? Help!

So I purchased my little guy from a PetsMart, and was told that he was a male. His tarsal spur is very hard to find. However, his veil seems pretty high for his age, and as a baby he is turning very pretty colorations of bright green with dark spots and stripes. He deffinately has an attitude, and I am really hoping that I was told the correct gender. I will attempt to be computer-savey and post a picture of him!

Those are the best I could get of the back of its feet. The only camera that I have is my phone, and they get blurry if I get much closer. At what age/size do the males start producing their brighter colors?

they fire up as young little ones. at about 3-4 months you can see some brighter spots and yellow/greens. females are beautiful in their own way.

I've had two females before, both have been rescue cases. I've never experianced the juvenile before. I am guessing that this one is roughly 2.5-3 months old. It's hard for me to tell
