Bottom of the cage

My Female Senegal Chameleon has been hanging out on the bottom of her cage recently. To be specific the past 2 days she has just been wandering around at the bottom scratching at the glass occasionally Maybe for around 10 minutes or so then she heads back up. Im wondering whether she could just be trying to cool off as it has been hot the past couple of days. I keep her cage humidity between 70-80 I have a thermostat in her cage towards the top that reads 90 at some points in the day, for the past couple days. I am feeding her well and giving her excercise for about 2 hours a day and keeping a close eye on her. In fact right now as im typing this shes asking if she can come out. Shell sometimes stay out all day in the bedroom maybe 10 hours or so and then ill put her back in when it starts to get cold in the room. If anyone can let me know whether I should be worried or not I would much appreciate it. Thank you.

i'm no expert but if she isen't just sitting at the bottom of the cage with her eyes closed and she's not walking around with her mouth gaping then she might not be to hot at all. it could be she is trying to lay eggs....thats just a guess though. anyone else think thats a possiblity?
oh and my jackson does that when i spoil him alot and let him out he goes to the bottom where the cage flipps open and trys to push himself out. its kinda funny but i feel bad so i usually let him come out to chill

She could be trying to cool down, or she might be needing to lay eggs. Both are very possible. Can you post a picture of her? Do you have a laying bin in for her?
