Bored of crickets?

ive fed my cham nothing but crickets within the past month that i've got him. and now he wont eat more than one cricket. however he will take interest in moths, mealworms, and silkworms. however i dont have a constant supply of moths as i only feed him the ones that fly into the house. i bought 500 dubias but i will be leaving the country in a week and they wont come until after i get back. no one in my family is gonna want to work with roaches. my silk worms are currently too small to be fed and i know u cant feed too many mealworms. right now he barely at anything in the past couple of days. what should i do???

nobody can help with this one?? i really need some advice. his eyes are starting to look sunken. please help!!

His eyes would be sunken in from lack of hydration. Is he drinking? He'll eat the crix when he's hungry enough. How old is he??

im not exactly sure how old he is but looks to be around 4months. i spray 4+ times a day for almost a minute. and each time i spray i give him a good shower. he can still be dehydrated from that??

I understand sunken eyes to be a sign of dehydration. Do you have a pic of your cham that you can post?

Imho, he looks fine to me. Just keep an eye on his waterings. Watch from a distance to see if he is in fact drinking or not. Some Chams will not readily drink in front of their owners...

well besides from not eating as much as he used to (which was like 10+ large crickets per day) maybe he just over stuffed himself and needed a break? i dont know. but he moves around just fine, skin dont look dry.

how are his urates? mine did something similar with crickets - he ate lots and after 20 days he just wanted mealworms ! but i switched to dubia and lobster roach and he loves them ! mine looks very similar to yours hehe !just let him be for 1-2 days and mostly his appetite in cricks will come back ! i strongly suggest to get some roached ! as i read the roaches are on the way ! keep and eye on him ! he looks very healthy in the pics , couldnt see anything wrong ! cranky little ones , all the best

well at 1st my fiance hated roaches till dubias came ! she loves them ! maybe some of your family will feed him dubias - tell them its for the chams healthy he must eat !
