Books to recommend? (Scientific, preferably not general care)

I've searched around and looked around on the online book store but I'd like some personal recommendations from people.

I'm not really looking for books based on basic care of chameleons as most of that is found here. I am mainly looking for books that will be describing recent species / locales and maybe getting a little more in depth on research that has been done regarding habitat, breeding, and range of the species.

Thanks in advance :)

that book looks similar to what I am looking for, but I am unsure if I will get an english version or not >.<

I reccomend "Chameleons" by Gary ferguson,Kennith Kalisch and Sean Mckeown its full of history and other info ive never seen in books before..

I think what you'd probably like is Petr Necas' Chameleons: Nature's Hidden Jewels. Also, the Madagascar field guide you linked to only has Furcifer and Calumma species in it. If you order it, you will get English text as well as French and Malagasy included, though.

Go to the classifieds, a member was selling a bunch of books as a group, don't know if he sold them, several weeks ago.:D
