Get that pretty pastel boy some live plants! :) He looks like he could use some moisture!

That light looks mightly hot and within reach. The entire lights inside the cage still confuses/scares me!

How does misting work in that cage?

im waiting for a chance to get over to a garden center to get bob some live plants, the bulb for some reason washed out with the flash so looks like a blob of light, its got a bulb guard on too:) for misting his sprayed by me 4 times a day with water dripping off the leaves and side of viv and some on him and he always has a drink when i spray him

Your little man is great!!! :D Really liking the pale colours

Charlie gets an 'awww' i'm sure she knows she is still loved.

I would love to get Peanut a viv that sizes, it looks so much bigger then her one now. Where is you uvb hiding? Do you have it fixed to the top? Mine slants from the top down to the mid section. She has a range of temps to sit in then while absorbing the uv

the uv is attached to ceiling bit and right at the front with a reflector on top to aim it all over the viv, so he gets it no matter where in the viv he is sat, and heat wise he can get alot of range in temps but generally hangs around near the top in the middle :) the viv is 24"long x 20"wide x 36" tall i think

Nice chams! Nice set up, too. I would recommend some live plants and some horizontal branches in the cage.

Bob is looking gorgeous! I agree, some live plants will improve his house, help with humidity levels and he will also drink from them and eat them!

Sounds like Bob has the same set up as Tommy. I used a jigsaw to cut out a section of the top which I covered with wire mesh so I could place his lights outside. It free'd up a lot of space in his cage too, so he can now have branches horizontally near the top, whereas with the lighting inside there wasn't room. I was paranoid that he was going to burn himself so I put the lights outside as soon as I could! Also, having the mesh section allowed me to poke his dripper hose down through and attach it to the top and sides so it is accessible to him. I have found that the humidity is not as stable in Tommy's cage as it is in Amy's Exo Terra.

Tesco have large schefflera and ficus in at the moment for £10 each - I'm gonna get Tommy one on Monday! They are about 3ft tall or more!:D Give B&Q a try also - I usually get my plants from there - just remember to wash the leaves first to remove any pesticide residues.

yes bob always has them colours, sometimes if he doesnt want to come out he goes abit darker but his always like that in or out the cage :D

im going to try and get some live plants asap for him

in that viv the humidity is better then what it was in the flexarium and he always drinks when i spray him :p
