Bob is finally recovering

Bob just had his re-check at the vet this morning. He had had a temporal gland infection that was getting pretty nasty, so at his first visit, he had surgery to remove some pus and was started on antibiotics. I took him in for his 10-day re-check this morning, and the vet said he was looking good. His weight is back up and he didn't see any more puss building up (he's been having me push the pus out daily). I'm excited to finally have something going right with my pets! After dealing with this infection for months, he's finally on the mend.
-By the way I would really recommend this vet to anyone in the Evansville, IN area (Dr. Butler at Animal Medical Services). He's not a primarily reptile vet, but he did a good job and I found out today that he has been voted the best vet in the tri-state.

That is fantastic. :) I'm glad Bob is feeling better, and that the infection is healing. I have a male Jacksons, too, and I'm always worried that he'll develop a temporal gland infection. Whenever I see him open his mouth, I try to take a peek and make sure everything looks good. I'm a worry wart.
