Possibly even a gravid female! Make sure you look into providing a laying bin soon, because females can and do produce infertile eggs.

thanks for the reply. I bought her at a reptile convention from LLLReptile. I would think they would be at least trust worthy enough to tell the right locale(blue bar ambilobe). The main reason for the post was due to my chameleon looking like it was gravid which worried me into buying the supplies just in case it was a girl, but wanted to know for sure.

LLL produces none of their chameleons. They just buy them elsewhere and flip them. They have nothing to go on regarding the true origin of any chameleon they sell except what the person that they bought it from told them. If that.

wish I knew that before. None the less I will still love her the same thank you again :D

These threads hopefully educate folks. In any conversation with a seller, whether at a show, or via phone or email, one should quickly determine the origins of the animal under consideration. And then the vitals .... both size AND age, as just one or the other can create false assumptions.

If I may ask, what is her total length ? Sexual maturity in females is a function of size, not age. Growth rates, and the parallel sexual maturity, can vary hugely based on husbandry conditions, starting with sunshine (real or artificial) and temperatures (real warm or not so much).

Thanks.

she is about 10 inches total. In her cage basking spot is 84 humidity is 60. I do take her out daily outside for about 15-30min to get some real sun

She is full grown, and a big one at that. She is easily breeding size and age. She is likely 10 months at minimum, and possibly much older, to include in the twilight of her life. No way to tell.

How big was she when you got her? I do agree that she is likely 10 months or older, but some chameleons grow tremendously fast with certain care (though I HIGHLY doubt she was 3 months old when you got her.)

when I got her she was about 6inches she didn't look like she was too much bigger than the other chameleons that were there but she was slightly bigger

That would put her at 6" a month ago. I thought she was much larger.

Regardless, she could have been a normal 4 month-old when you purchased her, now 5 months old. A fast growing female can be 6" at three months. A slower growing gal could be several months older at that size.
