I have a female jackson that i bought from petsmart pregnant. She had 18 babies and hasnt been able to make a full recovery. It has been over two months now since she had the babies. I noticed she was being real lethargic and her front legs were swelling where her hand meets her legs. My vet Told me to dust everything that went into the cage even better than before. I did that and bought her a new uvb light (reptisun 10.0). The swelling went down, but today i noticed that one of her back legs is swelling and she had blood in her poop. What does this mean? and what can i do? I realy think that she just got pregnant at to young of an age. And that she isnt going to be around to much longer. :(

yeah my vet is great she has helped me out a lot with her so far. She does specialize in reptiles

yeah going to have a stool sample done first. ihave a friend who is a zooligist and she thinks it may be parasites starving the chameleon from her vitamins and this would be why her joints are swelling as well

i know severe amount of coccidia can cause bloody stool as well.
you are right, treatment is very urgent.
