Black spots under veil

My Veiled chameleon has had some tiny black spots under his veil for the past few days. It has also been kind of whitish/ gray where the black spots are. I went down a few minutes ago to change his lights, and I realized that they are coming around his eyes. Could this just be that he is getting older and getting more color or something serious? I'm a new owner so everything that I see scares me, so I ask on here.

Whenever you are writing a post you can scroll down a bit until you see the button that says 'manage attachments' - click this and then 'choose file'.
You should be able to add any pic on your computer.

I read some related threads and it seems that they were just bruises because I looked at him today and they were gone. Thanks for the advice/ help!!
