Chameleon Info:
Your Chameleon - The species, sex, and age of your chameleon. How long has it been in your care? Veiled; male; approx. 17 months old; in my care for 5 months
Handling - How often do you handle your chameleon? Usually every other day because he begs for attention.
Feeding - What are you feeding your cham? What amount? What is the schedule? How are you gut-loading your feeders? Crickets, dubia roaches and superworms; gutloaded with my own mix of collard greens, mustard greens, dandelion greens, sweet potato, butternut squash, alfalfa, arugula, oats/bran, wheat germ, oranges, apples, flaxseed, sesame seed, and basil--my dry recipe is based off of Sandrachameleon's. I feed him 15 feeders every other day (please let me know if this is too much).
Supplements - What brand and type of calcium and vitamin products are you dusting your feeders with and what is the schedule? Rep-Cal calcium NO D3 every feeding, Rep-Cal calcium WITH D3, and Rep-Cal multivitamin "herptivite" twice a month.
Watering - What kind of watering technique do you use? How often and how long to you mist? Do you see your chameleon drinking? Auto-mister goes off every 3 hours for 30 seconds; I don't see him drinking, but urates are nice and white; he will drink from a cup if I offer him.
Fecal Description - Briefly note colors and consistency from recent droppings. Has this chameleon ever been tested for parasites? Nice white urates, solid brown poos. Not tested.
History - Any previous information about your cham that might be useful to others when trying to help you. I bought him from a fairly new (6 months old) reptile mom-and-pop style shop that took very good care of their animals as far as I could tell. They bought him from a reptile show and had him for 2-3 weeks before I bought him.

Cage Info:
Cage Type - Describe your cage (Glass, Screen, Combo?) What are the dimensions? Screen on the front, top and a little on one side. The rest is enclosed with wood and there is plastic on the inside to conceal humidity. It is a custom 2.5' x 2' x 3.5' enclosure.
Lighting - What brand, model, and types of lighting are you using? What is your daily lighting schedule? 26w 5.0 UVB; 75w-100w (depending on temps) basking light.
Temperature - What temp range have you created (cage floor to basking spot)? Lowest overnight temp? How do you measure these temps? Thermometer; 85 degrees basking, 70 ambient. 60 at lowest at night.
Humidity - What are your humidity levels? How are you creating and maintaining these levels? What do you use to measure humidity? Hygrometer; I aim to keep it 70%+, and higher at night. I run a fogger at night.
Plants - Are you using live plants? If so, what kind? 1 live pothos; 4 fake Exo Terra plants.
Placement - Where is your cage located? Is it near any fans, air vents, or high traffic areas? At what height is the top of the cage relative to your room floor? About 1 foot from the ceiling; in my room, little traffic; the fans and air vents do not bother the cage space.
Location - Where are you geographically located? Colorado.

Current Problem - The current problem you are concerned about. Yoshi has a black spot on the inside around his lower lip and I fear it may be mouth rot :(. I will post pics tomorrow, I can't tonight. Thank you so much for anyone who can help me, I am scared for my little guy.

Until I see pictures, I can offer a couple of things that might help long term. I would raise his high basking temp to close to 90f, I would drop the humidity down to at least 50% and stop the foggier at night. Rather make each misting 30 seconds longer. Last, sorry but you are way over feeding your boy. I would cut his feeders down to about 8 every other day. Unless you are gaining him tiny feeders he doesn't need over 8 every other day.

As hard as it is try to get a clear picture of the spot in his mouth. Hopefully we will have ideas for you.

Hey guys, thanks for your help and patience. The black spot was gone the day after I noticed it, so it must've been a piece of dirt or a piece from his vine (which is still not good, but better than mouth rot).

Laurie, I also would like to thank you much. I'll make sure to switch things up. :)
