Miacane New Member Apr 16, 2013 #4 Found It! Check this out: Google Chalcedon Checkerspot butterfly, Euphydryas caterpillar I found your pic on google and the pic was taken in souther CA. So i googled Catipilers in southern CA and this is the closest match. Didnt look any closer at poisonus or not. Might help.
