Black Soldier Fly

I search old posts, but didn't find a really straight answer to this. A have a couple of phoenix worms that have hatched into black soldiers flies... Are the ok to offer to my Panther?

yes they are fine. Feed them fast they do not live long

how is it that you can hatch them into flies?
I always have difficulty in doing it.
They just shriveled to black and pretty much stays like that after months and months.

and yes, you can feed the flies to your cham (like Ryan said ).

I had some hatch that I forgot about. sat for a couple of months. It takes forever! When they turn black they are in their pupae form.

I just bought a couple 25 count containers of them like a week ago. Today I just finished the first container and opened the second one... There were a few flies chillin there. Kinda freaked me out at first.

Those are some scarry looking bugs! Almost look like a wasp

Scared the S@#$ out of me the first time a I saw them.

My female Jackson loves their nutty crunch. mmm
They hatch easily in the cantainers the worms come in and I let them do that in her cage. Seasonal event. mmm
