Seen a few threads about this, and would fill out the help questionare, but my fiance thinks I'm on here to much lol, I'm not too worried cause if it boils down to It, its a quick vet visit. Anyways, little black dot!

I'm sorry, but we can't tell anything from this photo. It's too far away and blurry, I couldn't tell you if that's just a spot, some dirt, a bruise, or anything else.

Is there any way you could get a clearer photo? sometimes taking a photo in the sunlight will help most cameras (even phones) get better pics.

If the "dot" is surface dirt it will come off easily. Try wetting a tissue and rub. If it's a skin pigment spot it might show more or less as the cham changes color. Watch. Look closely at it to see if there is any swelling or redness around the edges of the spot. Could be a small skin injury.

I am 14 and that was very rude to question if I am unstable. I'm talking about his color, him laying down the way he is, and his back leg looks a little off from the picture.

Its hard to tell from he photo.

Bruises on chameleons will show up as black spots. Does this black dot look like it in under his skin or is it maybe just a piece of cricket guts that dried on his face or some other dirt.

Not healthy, how old are you, and are you unstable? I got him a week ago from FLchams, and h eats, drinks, sleeps, and is active like a champ! Had him for a week, hints the scared ass look hsgiving you guys. As for pictures. Its very hard to get him out and about due to him adjusting. Thanks for the suggestions, I think his little butts going to the doctor tomorrow or the next.

No need to be rude when you asked for help from the forum. Just sayin.

I've read up before posting, and a lot of new owners just get the mouth rot scare and it goes away

It's always prudent to go for a check up with new pets, especially if your vet knows his/her way around chameleons. So that's good, makes sure your guy is doing well.

Try taking a wet Q-tip to it and see if it'll rub off. If it does, then voila! Crisis solved lol
