Hi ppl. i have my chamy about a month now. In the begining his faeces were white. In the last week i cant see him drinking any water. Now his faeces are dark black. Can he be dehydrated and how can i help him there is always water on the leafs.

Post a picture of the feces and him. A pic of your Cham will really help us determine If he is dehydrated.

Their faeces are in two parts. White is the urates or pee. Dark is hie faecal matter. If you are only seeing the dark it could be that the two parts have separated and you might find the white part in a plant. The colour of the white part will determine whether he is dehydrated or not. If it is orange he is dehydrated. Yellow he needs more fluid.
