Bioactive+worm bin? (Babies)

I had just talked to the owner of iperdalis and I was discussing with him his methods of EXCEEDINGLY high hatch and survival rates. He said he suggests putting freshly hatched babies in a bioactive bin because there will be plenty of extra fruit flies to feast on and can get their immune systems started early along with good humidity.
Anyway I was considering how I could double up the bin when I do not have babies in it. Would it be dangerous to have earth worms in it along with the babies? (my axolotl eats worms so I like to farm them)
Other than fruit flies would it be possible to have another nonhostile bug in there breeding like silkworms?

Of course the babies would be removed from the bioactive bin to go into their separate enclosures after one month of growth. They will not be very big at all by the time they leave their theoretical buggy bin-mates.
