Bill Clinton at UC Davis today!

Bill Clinton gave a 30 minute speech today at Davis and I missed it. I was 2 buildings away and missed it due to me staying to my study hall. A couple people from my study hall went and said it was good except it started late. I'm going to have to take their word for that.

I did not like the Monica Lewinski scandal(I mean who did) but putting that all aside the country was in pretty damn good shape when he left office. I like watching his speeches.

As I recall, he was always late for every speech! Drove the press nuts! Not to get all political, but right now I'll take anybody else! I'm definitely "Hoping for Change!!!!!"

If I remember correctly him and his wife came to nowhereland in South Dakota to give a speech during the first Obama campaign. Sadly, I didn't get to leave school for it, but the people who did see it, said that it was a great experience.

I'm actually a republican. However if a US President (Past or Present) is in the area I'm normally going to show up. When he was in office I actually got the opportunity to see him at Jackson Lake Lodge in Jackson Hole Wyoming. My brother who is the democrat of the family ironically got to meet George Bush Jr in person.

Politics aside, I met Clinton several times when he was governor here. I was always amazed by his ability to remember everyone he met!!! I don't know how he did it, but, I swear, you could meet him at a reception, and he'd remember you a year or two later.
