i just had my friend build me a cage for my 8 month old veiled the cage is 24x24x48...and she has a really nice set up in her cage...is that an okay size cage to have her inn ???and since the cage is bigger should i higher the wattage on her basking light bulb???its a 50 watt bulb rite now...and shes been a little dark she starts turning greener when i take her out of her cage and she feels cold...i will attach some pics here later...thanks...

That is a perfect size. You do not need to up the wattage, just adjust your your basking branch(closer or farther) to the light to achieve the basking temp you are looking for. 50watt should be fine. Just make sure the branch is not too close that your cham can get burned of course.

What a nice living space she'll have! The best way to judge your basking spot is to measure the temp right at the perch while the light is on. One of many reasons a $30 temp gun is a wonderful thing to have handy. Don't rely on the wattage of the bulb. The actual temp you get is dependent on a lot of things including the temp and humidity level in the room.
