hey u guys, I dont know how often this happens but this morning when i left for work I left several different feeders in my chams cage to free range, crix, supers, butter, horn and wax worms. Well you can probably imagine my surprise when i get home and I discover MOTHRA's offspring hanging upside down from the top of my chams cage.
Im assuming that its a hornworm that managed to escape the jaws of my veiled and pupated to this moth. He is still alive, for the time being but Im wondering if it is healthy for my cham to eat it or not? If its ok then how can I keep it healthy and alive and properly gutloaded? I was thinking of putting a small bowl with some sugar water taked from a hummingbird feeder in the garage or maybe a few slices of orange or grapefruit? any info is greatly appreciated and ill see if i can upload some pics later. thanks.
