Well today was a landmark day for little Tobias. I gave him his second shower because he seems to have some stubborn shed on his face that he cant get rid of. The shower went well. He didn't hiss at me, and didn't seem to mind being handled. After the shower I put him back in his cage and he looked a bit hungry. I figured I'd give him a Superworm because he did a good job in the shower. I thought, I know, Ill try and hand feed him! So I dusted up a superworm, plopped it in my hand (big step for me 
) and slowly presented my hand with the gross worm to Tobias. After several long seconds of not being too sure of what to do. Tobias gained the courage to approach my hand and shoot for the superworm! He splashed me a little with his saliva and gobbled up the worm quite fast. I was so excited about this BIG achievement for Tobias the Angry Veiled I absolutely had to share it with some one! I tried to do it again with two crickets but he wasn't having it. So put them into his feeding cup and he went to it and looked at them for a while before eating them. I'm pleased he MIGHT be starting to warm up to me!
