can I feed my baby panther ants? not fire ants or whatever just normal ants. In the summer they get really big and are about maybe 1/4 to 1/2 an inch long

There's a lot about this—both ways—in the archives.
Sounds (from the size) like they could be black carpenter ants(?), which can hang on with their large pincers long after the rest of the ant is history. There's also the formic acid issue.
Personally, I'd stick to the known recommended feeders.

No its not a carpenter ant but i think i'll just stick to the small dubia and bsfl.

p.s. I offered jasmine one and she chomped it down so...
