Bi-colored Ambilobe

I have an Ambilobe that's about 9 months now. Most recently, he's been different colors on the two sides of his body. His left side is green, the right is yellow. I'm sure it won't stay this way permanently, but wanted to share photos while it's happening. He used to be a much darker green. Is there such a thing where he wants to become a yellow body but one side's color develops faster than the other side? Like his left side has to catch up to his right? Dad is a yellow body blue bar but dam is out of a green body blue bar so it could go either way. Is it always the same sides? Sometimes panthers will react to different stimulis on what ever side it occurs. Like if they're basking they would be dark on the light(or sun) side of their body but normal color on the other side, they can do the same thing with females or males or even reacting at you.

My Sambava used to do that but it would be on different sides and he was not like that all the time. I would see him sitting there and go and pick him up and the other side that was not in view to me would be completely yellow and red and the other would be green and red or vice versa. I still never figured out why either! He looks really pretty though, regardless!

It's always the same side, and really noticeable when/after he gets fired up. I'd like him to stay like this, assuming it's healthy, but I doubt it will. Better enjoy it while I can :D
