So after much worrying and anticipation, Betty started digging this morning. They are infertile but it is exciting to see her do it for the first time.
I do have some concerns though. I have read up all on chams laying so know the basics of it all. However, I am worried just cause I can be. She was digging for a while and got maybe a good 4-5 inches down then looked like she was breathing really hard (rear over the hole) so I figured she was laying. Left her alone and then went to get breakfast. Came back and she was on her branch that goes into the bucket. She was covered in the substrate, still dark, and still plump. Is she just resting or should I be worried?
