Better enclosure

Hi all! Is anyone using a 100gal Reptarium with nylon mesh? I just got one with a soft tray from LLLReptile but it doesn't look practical to clean and you can't leave the light on the top! I was thinking to swap it for an aluminum cage 24x24x48..
I know I should think about it before :-(
Any advise? Is for my panther
Thanks

I have the 68 gallon one. I don't rest the basking light on top. I use this thing I got at petsmart that holds it above the enclosure for me. As for the UVB light, that does rest on top. Just don't put too many things on top and you'll be okay.

Thanks!
Why will you go for the nylon mesh instead of getting the aluminum cage?

No problem.

Its easier to transport, its a lot cheaper, and its extremely easy to take apart and clean. They are also great to have outside. (If your area is safe)

I had a Jacksons in a Reptarium that worked great! Raising the basking light is a good idea and as far as cleaning goes, I just threw the mesh cover out in the yard and rinsed it really good with the hose and let it air dry.

Thank you guys.. In the end I opted for the aluminum one..
I like to keep the lights right on the mesh, and it seems much easier to clean for me.. No chances to go outside at all! My Cham will freeze straight away in Ireland! ;-)

i got rid of mine back in the day (like a month after they came out) they are too dark ,and imo flimsy..basically you get what you pay for with those..its cheap pvc tubes that interlock and a square mesh bag with a zipper...i went aluminum untill i started freeranging

Totally agree, way too dark! I also like a bit more solid structure! The nylon one gave me the impression it would collapse and smash the poor chameleon!Lol
