I was thinking of doing this too but didnt know how to do it since it will probably ruin the mesh. but then i thought of putting a peice of wood or something across the top of the cage so that its on the metal parts and then use a zip tie to make a loop going around the wood and through the mesh and then you can hang the pothos on the zip tie and theres no stress on the mesh. Dunno if that will work, havent tried it myself.
