Hi!
You do know most people are asleep now, right? Most of the board is not on the west coast.
Im eastcoast![]()
Not sure how cold it suppose to be but my fiancee usually doesnt run the heater at all and keeps the window half way down, i do know it suppose to be raining though ... i usually have to wear a jacket in the truck with him lol.... i mean i know if it is in the 70's that will be fine just wondering if i could put something in the box with her like a hand warmer under a wash rag or something. ( just in case, like to be prepared )
Yeah i know it is late back east ... I just got the chance to get back on tonight and check my post from this morning and no replies.... I actually do quite a bit of looking around and reading on here and have learned quit a lot thank you ...but never hurts to get good expierenced advice from knowledable ppl![]()
I'm awake too!Who needs sleep when you have dr pepper?! When I pick up the newest member of my family I believe I'll put a blanket on the bottom of the box, some branches, a little bit of leaves, and blankets around the box with air holes of course.
I would say if you are comfy without a jacket, then it's fine for your chameleon.
If it turns out to be a cold night (and those happen) you could absolutely wrap a hand warmer up and put it in the box/bag with her. It might be better to put the warmer (wrapped up) next to her bag.
When in doubt, choose the cooler option. Your chameleon can tolerate cold quite well...you don't want to burn it.
