Best Way To Travel?

I have a 8 week old veiled and I am taking him from college to my girlfriend's house this weekend so that she can take care of him when I leave for thanksgiving. What is the best way to take him in a car? When I bought him he was given to me in a big dunkin donuts cup with a fake vine in it. While he's definitely bigger than he was at 2 weeks, he could still fit in the cup, but is that too small?

I also have a little plastic box for crickets, would this be a better option? Do I need little hand warmer packets or anything to keep him comfortable?

It's only about a 2 hour car ride.

a small cricket keeper or deli cup with a peice of damp paper towel will suffice

apperently any cup thats big enough with something solid (non moving) and a damp peice of paper towel at the bottom
peice of somthing for them to climb on (stick, vine) and an vented top for some air i imagine it could be stressfull for them but if u kept their temps right i dought they would be in any danger
