Best trees for cham home

Hello all, i have been looking at the safe plant list and was wondering what everyone uses in there own chams home. Or basically the most popular among avid Cham keepers.

ALOT of people use pothos, including myself.

Umbrella plants and ficus are also very popular.

Pothos are so easy...I like them because they are vines, so they are easy to place however you want to make a custom playground for your cham.

If your thinking ficus, one thing is to consider is their leaf dropping. They shed their leaves so fast...so their is constantly leaves you have to remove from the bottom of the cage.

I learned something very important a while back. Pothos and all other plants come in different "varieties". For example, pothos come in varigated, a neon green, and a dark green color (i forgot what they are all appropriately named). Though they are all pothos....THEY ARE NOT ALL NON-TOXIC TO CHAMELEONS. Of all the pothos, only the golden pothos is safe for chams!

Be careful to follow the safe plant list exactly and match the scientific names exactly!

Good to know, thank you

i use a pothos and an umbrella tree. i used a ficus but the leaves started to fall off of it. pothos seems to hold up way better to over watering from my mist king.

Im big on the Umbrella trees, they do very well and my Lambeau loves em' , im glad everyone so far like the Umbrella. Im headed to the Greenhouse today and im searching for cool ideas.

i have never used them, but perhaps the flowers look nice, if that's the same hibiscus im thinking of, and maybe chams eat the flowers, im not sure, just assuming lol

Those flowers can get pretty big... That would be funny to see a chameleon chomping down on a hibiscus flower.
