Hello :) I live in Puerto Rico and I wanted to know what the best species of chams was the best to house outside in my climate? (I dont live on mountains; near the coast). I have a Jackson, so the temps could get too hot if he is out... I've heard Panther? I dont know, someone correct me

And another question...
Will they be threatened by anoles? There are A LOT here. I think, but it's better to double check. And are mice a problem, since they can chew basically anything?

I would say your jackson might be fine outdoors if there is plenty of shade in his enclosure, along with some kind of misting AND dripping system going throughout the day to keep the humidity up. jmo tho.

Either an Oustalet, Panther, or even Verrucosus. I've noticed long term (and not just with me) too much humidity can be an issue for veileds and they may eventually catch a URI.

What are your temps like in summer, fall, winter and spring? I think this would be an important question to ask in a thread like this unless one knows exactly where you live:rolleyes:
