Best Roach For All Chams/Reptiles

Currently I am breeding Dubia roaches but I want to try to breed another type. What is the best and easiest roach to breed?

There are several species that breed more rapidly and easily than dubia's but personally I would not want to keep them in my house due their escaping abilities that dubias don't have. The best roach in my opinion is a female dubia starved for days and then gut loaded to the max with fresh fruits and vegies. Other roaches like lobster roaches may work for you if your willing to risk them getting out of their container.

I have dubias, but I found some hissers (3 females and 1 male) at a local pet store. I just threw them in with my dubias to see if they could live together. They have been breeding very well and the chams love em. I've heard they're better nutritionally than dubias. Either way, I've got both. I may separate the hissers from the dubias in the future, but for now they seem to be doing well together.

You should be careful they could end up breeding a super roach that takes over the world!!!
