Hey all. Well I know someone who has 3 female bradypodion pumilums. He doesnt actualy know if they are pumilum, he told me they are green and blue and im guessing pumilum, though they might also be dracomontanum, he wants to get rid of them but doesnt know how so I am considering taking them. The reason I am taking them is I know they cannot be released back into their environment as they can cause health risks for the natural populations in that area. I will probably get them in October, maybe sooner if he wants to urgently get rid of them. I told him how to sex them, and he guesses they are all females. Now even though I live in S.A I do not have much experience with bradypodion. I did keep a few pumilum before with not so good success, I live in jhb gauteng where in winter now temps are ranging from -5 to about 5 degrees celsius during the night, and about 6-10 in the shade and 10- at the hottes 20 in the sun during the day. The humidity is 10-30 percent. I would preferably like to house them outdoors all in a large avary, though I dont know what will be best for them, I have no literature for neither of the 2 species. So I would appreciate any oppinions from anyone on what they think will be the best for the chams, housing wise, where should the avary be? In a place where the sun will always be shining in the day so that they can get adequate heat/U.V exposure, obviously if so I will heavily plant it. Sorry for the layout of this post, I am using my cellphone. Kind regards -Tyrone
