I have had him around a month now. He is about 11/12 weeks old and he has developed a stinking attitude lately. It is funny though.

Anyway, these are the only shots I can get of him without the camera being attacked. So this was taken at safe distance!

I am trying to get a picture of him whilst he isnt all fired up but it is almost impossible.

Let me know what you think of him anyway

Bert is so cute with his chin puffed out! Veileds can become very territorial when caged so if you have a safe area where you can free range him and interact with his some he just might sweeten up for you. :)

We have been talking about getting a free-range plant for the Chams. I think I'll have a look for some. I think a 6ft rubber tree would be brilliant in our lounge.

Check the safe plant list and make sure that's a safe plant for chams because I'm not sure about a rubber tree.

You are correct, it is in fact toxic.

haha, I rember when my Darwin was like that at that age.. He doesn't so much care for my going into his cage until i'm about an inch away from him then he fires up and goes nuts!

I offered a waxworm to Bert earlier today as a treat. He went mental at my hand, gaping, hissing and all the rest of his moody drama. He then realised I was offering food and he soon took aim with his goggley eyes and zapped it. Its amazing how quick he changes his mood when food is involved.

I hope he felt guilty afterwards!

Omg! Where/who did you get him from!? I love the little guys with the crazy tudes! He looks like he's gunna be a beast when he's older

Some typical Bert behaviour this morning. I woke to find him waiting by his cup for his cricket refill. So I reach over to take his cup out to refill and he starts his hisses and lunges! The definition of ungrateful! Haha

It's his way of saying "WHY WEREN'T YOU HERE EARLIER, I'LL EAT YOUR HAND INSTEAD."

He loves you really, in an angry way. He's adorable.

My male has an attitude as well he hates my guts when i go in his cage he comes to the front and proper hisses at me. But when he's out he's a sweetheart, when im home he spends his time on his free range. :D:D Bert is a little cutie even when angry!

As you can see he spends lots of his time near his food cup - waiting/eating. These were only taken a couple of weeks back. Just looking at them now has made me realise how much he has grown since then. Unbelievable.

First of all those pictures are awesome.

My vieled is the same way. She was very friendly as a baby, but now won't let me get near her unless I present an offering. It's kind of sad, but I guess this is life.

Awww poor boy is starved, begging for food! :p:p jk he's really cute and they do grow way to fast. Seems like yesterday Dylan (male yemen) was able to sit on my little finger now he's 7months old.

I think its fair to say he hates pictures!

@dreamforthedead - can we see a recent picture of Dylan?
