Just checked on Bert and he is fast asleep. See if you can spot him on the first picture before looking at the 2nd one!

Picture 3 is Ernie resting his chin. He looks mega comfy!

I got him from a breeder down south. I will PM you his details if you like.

Thanks, maybe some other time (don't tempt me - I'll buy one, and once you get past 5 you really do have to convert the whole house..........and it's not my house). I was just curious because I don't see them for sale. I want to know what species are available from inside the UK. Oh, actually do send them please - I can plan ahead.............

Hey Buddy,
don´t you think you have way to less airflow in the first cage?
I can´t see any gauze or fly-screen anywhere.

Thanks for your concern. His glass is half open most of the day/night to allow air in. Here in the UK people tend to use the wooden/glass vivs quite a lot. Although, I must admit I prefer screen cages after getting one for my other Cham.

The problem with having the glass open is that if he escapes, it can turn out to be very hard to find him again.
My Flapneck managed to escape once and it took me a week to find hin INSIDE of the couch.
The cats had ripped it open at the bottom when they were young and he snuck in and stayed there.
Can´t you just get the top of the cage off and have fly-screen on there instead?
This will still be a little less but definitely better than it is now.
Chameleons require a lot of fresh air, otherwise they easily get lung infections which is a well known reason for premature death.
