I just got Trogdor, is it OK that i'm hanging out in the same room as him? He doesn't seem to do anything but hide out in his basking area when i'm around.
I just hope the reason he isn't attacking the crap out of the juicy crickets is because i'm around.

Trogdor's enclosure is in my office, i'm in here working. There isn't any noise and nobody is running around.

If hes going to live in the office he'll have to get used to you eventually wont he!
Give him time to settle in. you can always hang something over the enclosure blocking his veiw of you. :)

yeah for sure, I need to stop treating him like such a delicate little flower.

He will get used to me damnit!!! j/k, My bearded dragon used to be in my office but everytime there were fast moving colors on my screen she would freak out. Trogdor doesn't seem to care about the screen, it's only if i'm staring at him. he is like the ghosts from Super Mario bros.

... it's only if i'm staring at him.

consider not staring at him ;)

Hang a towel or sheet over the front of the cage (or whatever side(s) he can see from) for the time being. Let him settle in for a few days or weeks before expecting him to just get used to you. Dont watch him. After a few days where he has not been freaked out by you, Gradually pull /fold back the towel a little more each day until after awhile he is subjected to you all the time. It is likely he will get used to you sitting there. If not, he deserves the same treatment as beardie - move to less occupied area.
